After extensive research on self-propelled electric mowers, I’m happy with my decision to choose this model. It meets all my requirements, especially with its dual 24-volt batteries that provide ample power to mow my large backyard and side areas without running out – usually finishing with one battery bar remaining.

The included dual battery charger is a convenient addition, offering quick recharge times. However, be cautious with the self-propel speed setting; setting it too high might cause an unexpected wheelie, as I discovered. The lower speed settings are efficient and more than adequate. The mower’s lightweight design makes it exceptionally easy to handle and navigate, reducing the need to rely heavily on the self-propel feature. It also comes with a Turbo button for increased blade speed, which I find unnecessary except for very tall grass.

The mower leaves my lawn looking well-groomed, with the mulching option effectively hiding grass clippings. It’s notably quieter than my previous gas mower, was easy to assemble straight out of the box, and overall, a significant improvement.

Having now used this mower five times, I can report no issues. The batteries sustain nearly an hour of use and recharge in just two hours. It’s capable of covering my 1/5-acre yard in a single session, with a little battery life left over. The batteries lasted throughout the mowing of my overgrown 1/3-acre lawn, with power to spare. Despite letting my lawn go for 2 1/2 weeks, the quiet, easy-to-maneuver mower did an excellent job. I even prepped the underside with silicone spray for better performance. Though I typically use a riding mower, this was a great alternative for a bit of exercise, plus the bonus drill was a nice perk. Mowing in 42-degree weather in Pennsylvania was no issue at all.
